One stadium.One map.A million uses.
Not just a fan map. Not just an operations plan. Soft Rebellion builds one interactive map that every team in your venue can use, from operations and security to marketing, sales and functions, and the all-important event proposals.
Built for everyone in the building
Staff see every space in one place, from the turnstiles to the plant room. Need to share part of it? Make a map for the job in a few clicks.
Easy to use
Click a space to see what it is. Search by name and switch levels. Anyone on your team can pick it up, with no training manual needed.
Buy it once. It's yours.
No subscription and no monthly fee. It lives on your domain, under your name, and keeps working whether you ever call me again or not.
Three parts, perfect harmony
The workbook holds the structural facts, the hub turns them into maps, and views get information to the people who need it. Information flows in one direction.
Workbook
The set record of your stadium. Every level, every area and every space is identified, named and categorised, creating the base of your system.
You only change it when the stadium itself changes, and even then it's straightforward.
Hub
A map for your staff. A stadium is a big space to picture, so the hub puts every level, area and space in one place, and everyone works from the same map.
Then comes the exciting bit: tailoring it for every audience you deal with.
- Operations and security briefings
- Marketing and sponsor pitches
- Sales, event proposals and functions
- Hirer walkthroughs and the public map
Views
Build a view, then export it to send, print or embed on your website.
HTML exports stay fully interactive in any browser, with no login and no app. PDFs are ready for print.
A hirer books your function room for a gala dinner. In a few minutes you make a view with just what they need: the room, the nearest toilets, the accessible entrance and the loading dock, with a note on bump-in times. Export it, send it, done.
See it in action
A short walkthrough on a sample stadium, from finding a space to sending a finished map.
Add walkthrough.mp4 and swap in the video tag.
Want to explore it yourself?
Ask me for a private link to the live demo. It's yours for 24 hours: click around, build a view and export it.

Prices are in NZD, excluding GST. You pay a deposit to lock in your build and the balance at handover.
Six weeks, start to finish
As a rough guide, depending on size and scope. Either way, you'll know what's going on at every step.
- Lock in your buildPay the deposit and fill in a short intake form about your venue. Then send over your plans for each level, your room list, brand assets and photos. For the Full system, I'll also need a seat data export from your ticketing provider.
- ScopingWeek 1 includes a 1–2 hour call to walk through your venue, who'll use the map and what each team needs from it.
- The buildOver weeks 2 to 4, I trace your plans, fill in the workbook and build your hub. At the end you get an almost-finished draft.
- Your feedbackIn week 5, your team tries it out, flags any tweaks and checks the workbook to make sure every name, number and description is right.
- Final tweaksIn week 6, I work through your feedback and finalise everything.
- HandoverYou get the finished system, your files and a handover guide, and you pay the balance.
- 60-day warrantyIf anything doesn't work as delivered, I fix it.
- Yours for goodThe map lives with you permanently. When the stadium changes, a fixed-price tune-up is there if you want one.
Questions

The basics
What do you need from us?
A short intake form, a PDF export of your plans for each level, a room list, your brand assets, some photos and one contact person. For the Full tier, I also need a seat data export from your ticketing provider. I fill in the workbook from your drawings, your current map and the photos, and then you check it and sign it off.
Do we have to share back-of-house plans?
Only for the tiers that use them. The Public map only needs your public levels. I'm happy to sign an NDA before you send anything, and you can hold back any level you'd rather keep private.
How long does a build take?
About 6 weeks: a week of scoping, three weeks to an almost-finished draft, a week for your feedback and a week of final tweaks. It depends on the size and scope of your venue.
How much does it cost?
The base prices are $12,000 for the Public map, $25,000 for the Operations system and $38,000 for the Full system (NZD, excl. GST). They cover a stadium of up to 25,000 seats across three storeys, with one public level. Larger or smaller venues may need specific scoping, but you'll have one fixed price before any work starts. You pay a deposit and the balance at handover.
Can we upgrade later?
Yes. If you start with the Public map and want Operations later, you only pay for what's new, and every view you've made carries straight across.
Can we change things ourselves?
Yes. Day-to-day changes happen in the hub, view by view: names, descriptions, notes, colours, and which spaces are open, closed or highlighted. Permanent changes for everyone mean updating the workbook and republishing the hub, and earlier versions are kept so you can roll back. Bigger changes, like a refurbished concourse, are covered by a tune-up.
What happens after handover?
A 60-day warranty covers anything that doesn't work as delivered. After that, you can buy a fixed-price tune-up whenever you want one, from $1,500. It covers a browser check, re-tracing changed spaces, refreshed exports and an updated handover guide.
Does the emergency exit layer replace our evacuation plan?
No. It helps people find their way to exits, but it isn't a certified evacuation plan. Your existing emergency procedures still apply.
Technical
Where is it hosted?
The hub is hosted on Cloudflare, in an account in your name. It can sit on your own subdomain, like maps.yourvenue.com, with one DNS record, and your domain doesn't have to move. Public map exports are single files that go straight onto your existing website.
Will it work with our current website?
Yes. A public map export is a single HTML file, so it goes onto your existing website with no rebuild and no new CMS.
Are there any ongoing costs?
Not from me. Cloudflare's free plans cover hosting and up to 50 staff logins, which suits most venue teams.
What format is the workbook?
An Excel file. It's the set record of your stadium and changes rarely. Most day-to-day changes happen in the hub instead.
Is our back-of-house information kept private?
Yes. Every export holds only what its view shows. Hidden spaces and internal-only fields are left out of the file altogether, not just hidden. The hub sits behind a login, and staff sign in with their work email on your domain.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The map is drawn as a vector image, so it stays sharp at any size and works on phones, tablets and desktops.
Which browsers does it support?
Current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox.
Is it accessible?
All of the map's content is also available as text: searchable lists, labelled spaces and keyboard navigation.
Does it do blue-dot or turn-by-turn navigation?
No. It's an interactive map and directory, not an indoor positioning system, so it doesn't need beacons, sensors or an app.
How does the seat finder get our seating data?
It's built from a one-off seat data export from your ticketing provider. It isn't a live connection to your ticketing system, so nothing has to integrate with them. If your seating layout changes, it can be refreshed in a tune-up.
What do we own?
Your trace, your workbook and every view file you make are yours outright. The hub's code is licensed to you permanently, so it keeps working whether or not you ever call me again.
Do you keep any of our data?
No. The hub stores nothing: no database and no saved data in the browser. Every view lives in a file you own. I keep access to your Cloudflare account until the warranty ends, and after that only if you add me back for a tune-up.
Can we track how people use it?
Yes. It can use the analytics already on your website.
You buy it once, and it's yours
This isn't another platform to subscribe to, log into and renew. It's a map system built for your venue, handed over and owned by you.
No subscription
You pay one fixed price for the build. There are no per-map, per-month or per-user fees, and no renewal date to remember.
No new platform to manage
The map lives on your domain and sits inside your existing website. The staff hub sits behind a login for anyone with a work email on your domain. There's no extra vendor account to manage.
You own what you paid for
Your trace, your workbook and every view file are yours outright, and the hub's code is licensed to you permanently. If you never call me again, it keeps working.
Built for the stadium, not a single department
Most venue maps stop at the public concourse or sit with one team. This one covers back of house too, so operations, marketing, sales, functions and hirers all work from the same map.
Tune-ups when you want them
Refurbished a concourse or added a bar? A fixed-price tune-up re-traces the changed spaces and refreshes your exports. You buy one only when you need it.
Made by a person who works in stadiums
I work in stadium marketing and communications, and every map is traced by hand from your plans.
